## Issues: AgResearch had developed a number of HR reports, which were partially fulfilling needs. It was time to review the reports and complement these with other reports consistent with a more balanced and comprehensive view of human resource issues. ## Approach: Hot house your monthly reporting into decision-based reports. Based around David's observations during 10 year's of benchmarking we have developed a series of templates at the cutting edge. The two-day intensive visit radically changed the reporting utilising Waymark's and AgResearch's templates. During the process there were two conference calls with the General Manager HR to discuss the templates as they were being developed and to incorporate other concepts. Reports were designed in the following areas: * workforce * learning and development * performance review and mentors * inductions * internal applications * performance improvement and staff opinion * absenteeism * leave * EEO * capability mix * corrective actions * parental leave * accidents * illness * casuals ## Benefits: An integrated HR reporting workbook was developed covering reports that were needed to be prepared on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis. The reports were designed to be more of a management tool helping with the alignment of behaviour.
